Our Return Policy

The Fine Print

For in-person purchases please notify us by email within 24 hours of receiving a plant that is questionable. We will gladly correct any subsequent issues that are our responsibility. Past that we cannot control the environment the plant is placed in. Email 84farmandgardens@gmail.com

We are not responsible for losses caused by:


​

  • Extreme and unseasonable weather conditions. (Spring and Fall growing seasons are recommended for establishing perennials.) 

​

  • Neglect to water, feed, prepare the soil, and site your plant appropriately.

​

  • Death or damage from hungry animals, insects, or pets

​

  • Inappropriate climate zone


SHIPPING RETURN POLICY

NODE/CUTTING RISK:

Buyer accepts the risk associated in shipping and rooting of node/cutting being purchased. Buyer understands that the chance of unsuccessful rooting a node/cutting is not reflective of our shop's performance.


CUTTING/PLANT DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for the actual cutting/plant shown and exactly what the buyer will receive. Plants will ship in the nursery pot (ceramic pot not included) as shown in the substrate/medium that it's currently growing in. Cuttings will ship with stem and roots (if any) wrapped in a moist paper towel. Photo before shipping is available upon request. We thoroughly inspect all specimen prior to shipping and we DO NOT ship if it is not as described in the listing at the time of shipping. Please be aware that stress and damages to the cutting/plant can occur during shipping that may alter the appearance of the cutting/plant.


PLANT CARE:

While a General Care Guide will be included in the package, it is the buyer's responsibility to do their own research on how to properly take care of the cutting/plant that they are buying.


PACKAGING:

We will pack the cutting/plant with utmost care using brand new quality packaging materials


INSULATION and HEAT PACK:

If you live in an area where the weather is cold, please add "Heat-Pack", "Insulation" or both from the Packaging Option Menu. Adding a heat pack and insulation to order is at buyer's discretion. Please note that the heat pack will only last up to 72 hours.


SHIPPING CARRIER:

We only ship by USPS or FEDEX (FEDEX by request only). We recommend FEDEX Overnight.  If you would like to request for a FEDEX Overnight shipping quote, please leave me a message in the "Note to Seller" when you place your order. Estimate Time of Arrival is provided by the carrier, the seller is not liable for any delay or lost of the package that is caused by the carrier.


SHIPPING INSURANCE:

We only use the shipping carriers USPS and FEDEX (FEDEX by request only).Your USPS shipping amount purchase includes insurance up to $100.00.


SHIPPING CLAIM:

It is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim for damaged and lost items through the shipping provider.


TRACKING UPDATE:

Please contact the carrier directly for ALL questions regarding the status of your shipment. We do not have any additional information regarding your shipping once I ship your plant.


PLANT FORFEITURE AND CONFISCATION:

We will reimburse 50% of the plant cost (not including shipping cost) In case your plant gets confiscated and destroyed by the Department of Agriculture. Documents or forwarded emails must be sent to 84farmandgardens@gmail.com within 30 days of recieving the letter from the State Department.


LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:

We will reimburse 50% of the plant cost (not including shipping cost) In case your plant arrives dead for any reason ONLY IF you chose to ship by FEDEX Overnight and that there was no delay in the shipment. This does not cover cosmetic damages caused by shipping to the plant. An unboxing video must be submitted to us within 24 hours of receiving the plant.


TERMS:

All live plant/cutting purchases are FINAL. Buyer is aware and understands that damages to the cutting/plant can occur during transit that may include browning leaves, yellowing leaves, bent stems/leaves and rot on the leaves/stem/growth bud/aerial roots and that we, (the seller) are NOT liable for any of the damages once the cutting/plant ships. We will pack the cutting/plant with utmost care, exactly as described and as shown in the listing.  Other than specified in the "Live Arrival Guarantee" and "Plant Forfeiture and Confiscation" clause, there will be No Refund. No Returns. No Exchange. No Replacements. No Exceptions. By purchasing, you AGREE to these terms.
